These are my notes from the design part of the foundation bootcamp at Parsons School of Design, New York. Graduate level, at the start of my MFA in Design and Technology, which ran from 2018 to 2020.
The bootcamp had a coding part, a design part, and a web part, and each set of notes has its own page here. This one is the design side.
I came from Electronics and Communication Engineering at BITS Pilani. Parsons gave that engineering instinct a design vocabulary. The design bootcamp is where that vocabulary first began.
I have been putting notes online since 2013, from a hostel room, free for anyone who needed them. At least one person in the world studies from my notes every single day. That has held since 2013. These notes are part of that library.
