These are my handwritten notes for Digital Design, second year, first semester, Electronics and Communication Engineering at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus.
I joined in 2011. Teaching friends and classmates is how I learned. To explain something clearly enough for someone else to follow it, you have to understand it yourself. Understanding something deeply enough to teach it is the highest form of mastery.
The notes cover combinational and sequential logic, logic gates, flip-flops, finite state machines, and digital system design fundamentals. They follow the course closely. If you are studying this subject, you can use them alongside whatever you are already working from.
In 2013, from a hostel room, I put my handwritten notes online so anyone who needed them could use them. Since then, at least one person in the world has studied from my notes every day. They are free.
The full notes are a PDF embedded on this page. Read them right here, or open and download them.
