These are my Introduction to Finance and Accounts notes. A management elective I took in my third year, second semester, at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus, alongside an engineering degree.
I started sharing my handwritten notes online in 2013, as an undergrad. The idea was simple: I was writing them anyway, so I put them online for anyone who could use them. At least one person in the world has studied from my notes every single day since 2013. That streak holds, and it matters to me.
Finance and Accounts was not a required course for an engineering student. I chose it as an elective. The subject asked me to think in a different register: financial statements, accounting principles, balance sheets, and basic financial analysis. These are not incidental things to understand. They change how you read a business.
