These are my General Biology notes from my first year, first semester, at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus. I was an engineering student, taking notes by hand.
In 2013, as an undergrad, I started sharing my handwritten notes online so others could learn from them. The idea was simple and it held. At least one person in the world has studied from my notes every single day since then. That fact is the reason this library keeps going. Learn. Share. Repeat.
These notes cover cell structure, genetics, biochemistry, ecology, and modern biology concepts. For an engineering student in a first semester, that is a wide range: from how a cell is built to the rules of inheritance, from the chemistry of living things to how entire populations interact. Biology at this level is broad by design. These notes follow the course the full distance.
