At least one person somewhere in the world has studied from my notes every single day since 2013. I started uploading them as an undergrad because I wanted others to learn. That has not changed.
These are my Microprocessors and Interfacing notes from third year, second semester, at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus. The course was designed for electronics (ECE) and electrical (EEE) students. It sits where software meets hardware: you write code, and you understand exactly what the processor does with it.
The notes cover the 8086 architecture, assembly language programming, peripheral interfacing, and the basics of embedded systems. They move from the inside out: the processor’s own structure and instruction set first, then how it connects to the world through peripheral devices.
