At least one person somewhere in the world has studied from my notes every single day since 2013. These Modern Control Systems notes are part of that library.
They come from my third year, second semester, at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus: handwritten notes from class, put together for both electronics (ECE) and electrical (EEE) students.
The notes cover state-space representation, controllability, observability, and optimal control design. The sequence matters. State-space representation comes first: you need it to even frame the controllability and observability questions. Optimal control design depends on what those answers tell you. These notes walk through all four areas, in order.
I started sharing my handwritten notes online in 2013, when I was an undergrad, so that others could learn from them. That still matters to me. Learn. Share. Repeat.
