Mouse Movement Mapping: MoCap for AR & VR

In this piece, I have captured and mapped the mouse movement on my screen, as I am working on my laptop. 
The map generated as a result reflects how the user interfaces are designed to be more interactive in certain regions of the screen. 

The main applications and websites I visited during my screen interaction and recording: 

• Web (Mozilla Firefox): Google, New York Times, Facebook, YouTube
• Desktop (Windows 10): Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft OneNote

Notation

• Step 1: Capture the screen and the mouse movement by opening programs and applications
• Step 2: Import the video in Adobe After Effects
• Step 3: Use the pen tool to map every 5 frames of the video. Keep the lines straight
• Step 4: Add tracking to the shape. Change the start and end points to create animation.
• Step 5: Export the video
